All Your Memes Are Belong To Leeroy Jenkins, Domainers

The ultimate trend is the internet meme. Oh, don’t pretend that you don’t know them. I’m sure many of you were around when All your base are belong to us hit the series of tubes. If not, then you surely know Star Wars Kid, Phillipine Prisoners, Dramatic Look and like such as Numa Numa… for the children.
You can’t hide from the internet meme, and you can’t convince me that NO ONE from your workplace has sung Chocolate Rain on the job.
I know what you’re saying: “I’m tired of these mother f***ing memes on the motherf***ing internet!” But wait, don’t dismiss them. The 8th most viewed blog on the internet, according to Technorati, is I Can Has Cheezburger; a site that took advantage of the internet meme LOLCats. All they did was register the right domain. That’s it!
The formula is simple:
- Create meme and/or register domain
- ?????
- Profit!
Again, I know what you‘re saying: “O Rly?“
Ya rly. It’s that simple.
The hardest part is predicting what will become a meme. By the time a meme is a meme, all the domain names are already registered. You need to strike fast. This will no doubt lead to many failures of registrations, but it takes just one icanhascheezburger.com or donttasemebro.com to get it right.
In other BREAKING news, here is a video of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announcing their acquisition of Apple. I, for one, welcome our new Macinsoft overlords.
I know. Fail.

Are you Owen Frager’s brother? No reason, just curious.
No sir, I’m just a random guy. What made you think I was?
